The tax system of the United States Federal Government is progressive in nature, this means that the more money is generated, the more tax will be paid.

Compliance with the payment of taxes is taken very seriously since it is an obligation of every citizen or resident (temporary or permanent) who genere ingresos.

• International passport (must display photo, name, date of birth and expiration date). For your dependents under 18 years old, birth certificates are required.

• The current minimum liability limits are $30,000 for each injured person, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage per accident. This basic coverage is called 30/60/25 coverage. We recommend higher limits, as any exceeding amount will hit right in your pocket.

• Texas law provides severe penalties for violating financial responsibility laws: First offense results in a $175.00 to $350.00 fine. Repeated offences in a $350.00 to $1,000 fine, drivers license suspension and impoundment of your vehicle. Offence without a driver’s license: $2,000 maximum fine, 180 days in jail, or both. Offence if you cause an accident with serios injuries or death: $4,000 maximum fine, one year in jail, or both.

• If you are a Texas resident, you don’t need to have additional coverage as your Texas policy will automatically meet the minimum requirements of other states.

• Bring your document before the Notary Public in our office. All parties required to sign the document must present a current, government issued photo ID. Documents can be filled out prior to your visit but it must be signed before the Notary Public.
